Rev. Mansour Khajehpour
Crossroads Presbyterian Church, Pastor
Mansour Khajehpour was born in Iran into a Muslim family. When he was 13, the Islamic Revolution took place in his country. At age 14, he journeyed the Hajj Pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia. When he was 15 years old member of a fundamentalist family, he walked into the Evangelical (Presbyterian) Church in Mash’had, Iran protesting the presence of the infidels. In the next three months, his life changed forever as he gave his heart to Jesus Christ.
After fifteen years of following and serving Christ in Iran, disowned by family, discriminated by friends, persecuted, and imprisoned twice, along with his wife and their little daughter, they fled Iran. Ever since 1997, they have called Seattle, in the USA their home while he serves as a Pastor of a local church, and also an Adjunct Professor of Old Testament at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He is one of the founders and board members of the Synod of Evangelical Church of Iran in Diaspora (SECID) in addition to his leadership service at a handful of other organizations. His wife, Nahid is the Executive Director of the Bible Society of Iran in exile. Nahid and Mansour are proud parents of two beautiful, and God-fearing grown-up children including Rebeka and Matthew.
One of the greatest joys of Mansour’s life is being in regular touch with Christians living in Iran. He loves sharing stories of what God is doing in the Persian-speaking world and appreciates your prayers.
Nahid Sepehri
Iranian Bible Society in Diaspora, Executive Director
Nahid Sepehri was born in Tehran, Iran, into a semi-Christian family in a predominantly Muslim society, with her father having converted to Christianity before she was born.
Despite the many limitations of the post-Islamic Revolution era, she earned a degree in Theology and served at the Iranian Bible Society’s translation department until its closure by the government in 1990.
In 1997, she migrated to the United States with her family and joined the Today’s Persian Version translation team, later she became its Coordinator. The completion and inauguration of the TPV Bible in 2007 marked a turning point in her ministry. Her other responsibilities includes translating and publishing Children's bible and coordinator of editing the translation of TPV bible.
In March 2015, she was appointed Executive Director of the Iranian Bible Society in Diaspora. Today she celebrates delivering hundreds of thousands of Farsi scriptures to Iranians worldwide.
