Prayer Walk

Description

This prayer walk experience includes a pre-walk orientation, an one-hour walk around the grounds of the hosting church, and a group debriefing session. This walk is designed to stir compassion, deepen spiritual focus, and ignite a desire to see God work through outreach to Muslims. We’ll pray for openness, boldness, and transformation—for ourselves and for those we long to reach with the hope of Jesus.

Facilitators

Jon and Corinna McMurray are passionate followers of Jesus with a heart for discipleship, restoration, and cross-cultural engagement.

Jon, a former elementary school teacher with 17 years of experience in Toronto’s diverse neighborhoods, now works with the federal corrections system, helping men reintegrate into society through faith-based support. He has a passion for spiritual growth and recently completed orchard training, drawing life lessons from tending fruit trees.

Corinna, a registered Occupational Therapist for over 23 years, integrates her faith into her professional and personal life. Having grown up in a Muslim region of Southeast Asia, she brings a deep appreciation for cross-cultural relationships and now serves in spaces where prayer, discipleship, and healing intersect. She is also a trained trauma healing facilitator.
