Workshop Description
The DeLongs have a heart for serving Muslims and unreached people groups. With seven years of living in Turkey and prior experience in ministering in The Gambia, West Africa, they bring valuable cross-cultural insight to their work. You will hear how God used them to introduce people to Jesus through Discovery Bible Studies (DBS) during weekly gatherings in coffee shops and, by the move of the Spirit, Muslims would encounter the love of the Father, get baptized and become disciples who make disciples.
Since returning to Canada Danny and his wife Alycia have been actively in outreach and community engagement with Muslims, and will share some of the ways that God has opened doors for the creation of friendships that led to them doing DBS in mosques with Muslim men and women, start conversations that lead to sharing the teachings of Jesus and more!
